Ludbar Lodge

The Ludbar Lodge, our wedding & function venue overlooks the waterfront of the tranquil Keurbooms river. This unique venue on your very own private island just outside Plettenberg Bay, is ideally situated on the Garden Route.

The Lodge has an intimate  bar, television lounge, indoor/outdoor barbeque area, boardroom and waterside terrace. The waterside terrace covered by a stretch tent beneath the milkwoods overlooks the river and caters for outdoor functions, weddings and large events (max 120 pax).

Use Stanley island as your next wedding and function venue of choice in the Plettenberg Bay, the jewel of the Garden Route.

Kingfisher lapa

Stanley Island has a lovely thatched poolside lapa with a yellowwood bar and mobile barbeque unit. The lapa overlooks the island lawns with lovely sunset views of the Robberg peninsula. The lawns are ideal for family games of boule, chipping or volleyball.

This facility is ideal for family  lunches, braai’s, poolside relaxing or private functions.
