Stanley Island is approximately two and a half hours drive (220km) from Port Elizabeth along the N2 national road. The Keurbooms River is the first of two rivers 5km before Plettenberg Bay. Just after the long descent with the most beautiful view of the Robberg Peninsula (you’ve arrived in paradise!) you will see a sign on your right hand side “Ferries” just before the Keurbooms River bridge. Take the right and turn first left through the boom gate (say that you are Stanley Island guests for free access). Drive underneath the bridge and park your car near the big jetty next to the slipway. Please give us a call 5min prior to arrival so we can have the ferry waiting for you! Please ensure that you arrive before sundown due to the ferry crossing.
