Plettenberg Bay Accommodation Garden Route

Stanley Island is the only privately owned Island in South Africa and is situated in the spectacularly beautiful Keurbooms Lagoon at Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route.

This 28 hectare private island nature reserve has its own indigenous forest, a 1,000 metre grass runway, magnificent birdlife and three secluded thatched chalets with game roaming among the chalets.

There are long stretches of sandy private beach. The island is a wonderful base for any and all water sports and ideally positioned for exploring Plettenberg Bay and its surrounds.

Your privacy is our priority and escaping the mainland is a ferry trip away.

The island is the ideal wedding and honeymoon venue. It is also suitable for other functions where something "different" is sought.

Guests have the full use of our canoes and motorboats are available for rent. Access to the island for its residents and guests is by aeroplane or our own ferry.
